After Virat Kohli, another wicket down for Team India
Indian Skipper, Virat Kohli has missed out playing county cricket for Surrey due to his neck injury. It is a known fact, Virat wants to enhance his batting technique by playing to Surrey with an intention to give the brilliant performance in the upcoming series against England. But it went into vain due to the neck injury. He will be available for England series.
Now Indian Wicket Keeper, Wriddhiman Saha is out of the league. But not for the England series. He is ruled out only for a single Paytm Test Match against Afghanistan due to his right thumb injury during IPL Qualifier 2 against SRH at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. The doctors advised him a bed rest of 5 to 6 weeks. He is expected to be fit for Ireland and England Series.
Wriddhiman Saha is replaced by the man-in-form, Dinesh Karthik. From the past one week, DK is in a terrific form and he single-handedly brought victories to the team India recently when big guns failed to blaze. After eight years, Dinesh Karthik is playing his first test match.
This single Paytm Test Match between India and Afghanistan will be held at Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru from 14th June 2018.
