Despite hard times, Keralites Indian'ity winning hearts

 Kerala is facing its worst flood in 100 years. Eighty dams opened, 357 lives lost, more than 2 lakh people are in 1500+ relief camps. Still,  thousands who are stranded in floods.

The rescue operations are going on relentlessly. Airlifting is going on in the places where the flood water level is high.  Along with Police,  Navy and the local fishermen also working round the clock to rescue as many as possible.

Mainly, the airlifting done by Army personnel is winning hearts. How they’ve rescued a pregnant woman followed by rescuing a toddler along with mother etc., The videos of these sort of rescue ops by Army during Kerala floods not only making the entire nation emotional but also trending top on social media. 

On 17th August, Naval NLH piloted by CDR Vijay Varma had rescued two women. For rescuing them, Keralites showed their spirit by painting ‘Thanks’ on the roof of a house in Kochi. ‘The ‘Thank You’ message depicted the love and respect towards the Army personnel Vijay Varma.
