Former BCCI President becomes ICC Chairman for the second time

ICC has confirmed that Former BCCI President, Shashank Manohar is being elected as ICC Chairman for the second term, unopposedly. Earlier he was served as ICC Independent Chairman from November 2015-March 2017. In his two years tenure, he implemented many reforms in International Cricket with the support of his fellow ICC members.

Now he is again elected as council's Chairman for the second time. On this, Mr. Shashank Manohar who thanked the ICC and the council of members is keen to take cricket further heights with their support. As per the latest updates, he is going to meet BCCI and discuss on Day/Night Test matches, where the team India hasn't played yet. Even team India hasn't played matches using Pink Ball too. Last year, India has to play pink-ball test match against West Indies, but it hasn't been materialized as the management need 18 months time to prepare for it. 

Mr. Shashank also served as BCCI President on two different occasions.
