I lost 20 seats because of BJP: AP CM
TDP supremo and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has said in his latest interview that his party had lost around 20 seats in 2014 Assembly elections because of the alliance with the BJP.
"The Muslims and Christians did not vote for us. I have not gained anything going with the BJP whereas I will win more seats if contest alone," Babu said.
Taking stock of the advantages and disadvantages that AP has had post-bifurcation, he said, "The advantages were sea coast and gas and oil possibilities and at the same time disadvantages included drought situation in Rayalaseema, frequent cyclones, no urban income and lack of industries and educational institutions."
