Kerala government to honor Fishing Workers
In the past few days, Kerala trembled like a leaf due to the floods. Hundreds died, thousands lost their houses and thousands still stranded for the help.
At Present, the floods recede in Kerala and the situation slowly coming to normal. In rescuing the people, Army, Navy, Police and the Fishermen efforts deserve to be lauded. The entire nation salutes these great men’ relentless work to save the people who stranded in the floods.
Especially, Fishermen worked hard to rescue the people. The Kerala government which recognized their efforts have confirmed to honor the fishing workers who were part of the rescue mission.
The Kerala government to grant Rs.3000 for each day of their work and also bears the repairing costs of boats damaged during the mission.
CM Pinarayi Vijayan announced that the Government will honour fishing workers who were part of the rescue mission. All boats will be granted ₹3000 for each day of their work.
