Minister Buggana introduces the first AP budget in Assembly
After the landslide victory in assembly elections, AP CM YS Jagan' government has introduced the first-ever budget in today' Assembly by Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy. The revenue deficit of AP is Rs. 1778 crore. The size of the budget is Rs 2,27,474 crore.
Here are some key points AP Budget 2019-20:
Rs 1,740 crore for YSR Arogyasri scheme.
Rs 2,000 crore for Kapu welfare.
Rs 260 crore allocated for Andhra road development corporation.
Allocated Rs 4,525 crore for providing 9-hour free electricity to the Agriculture sector.
To Amma Vodi Scheme, Rs 6,455 crore allocated in the AP budget, which is expected to benefit more than 43 lakh mothers.
To improve infrastructure in government schools and hospitals, Rs.3,000 cr budget is allocated(1500cr for schools and 1500cr for hospitals).
Rs 2,000 crore allotted as calamity assistance fund.
Rs 3,000 crore for market stabilization.
Rs 300 crore for YSR BC Kalyana Kanuka.
