Nani practised cricket for 70 days
It's known that Natural Star Nani is Arjun, a cricketer, in 'Jersey'. It's learned that the actor practised the sport for 70 days under the training of a professional coach.
Cricket forms the crux of the movie. As such, the cricket matches were shot for 24 days in two international stadia and five domestic stadia. About 250 cast and crew members, besides professional cricketers from different parts of the country and England, were roped in for the huge schedule.
Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, the film is a period flick. Shraddha Srinath is the female lead and it releases on April 19.
