'Officer': How not to advertise your film

Nagarjuna simply never deserved it.  Never ever.  We mean, never.  After a film like 'Raju Gari Gadhi-2', whose first weekend was a stunner, 'Officer' has thrown up humiliating figures.

As per early trade reports, the cop drama failed to rake in even Rs. 50 lakhs on Friday in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.  

The abysmal openings prove that you can't sell a film by trumpeting about the techniques ('The sound effect is mind-blowing' and such things) in store, etc.  You have to have an exciting teaser, an interesting trailer, good songs, and gripping promo videos.  The makers of 'Officer' floundered with these despite making an action film.  

More than this, the brand image of Ram Gopal Varma is at an all-time low.  It has affected Nag.
