Pak blocks UN's interview of Hafiz Saeed
Pakistan has on Thursday reportedly blocked the visa requests of UN officials, who want to interview LeT terrorist Hafiz Saeed. "The UN Ombudsman had to settle for a video interview of Hafiz Saeed rather than an in-person interview. After being stonewalled by Pakistan, the UN has officially recommended against de-listing of Hafiz Saeed from UNSC 1267 list. The proposal to de-list Saeed from the sanction list mandates an in-person interview, which Pakistan has blocked," an ANI report says.
This only goes to show that Pakistan is not really sincere to curb Saeed with an iron fist.
Meanwhile, the Indian Air Force is reportedly in a "high state of preparedness, to proactively engage any perceived threat in the present security scenario."
"A strict vigil in the skies to detect and thwart any act of aggression from Pakistan Air Force is being maintained," it's reported.
