Rahul's ISIS remarks draw flak
The Bharatiya Janata Party has slammed Congress President Rahul Gandhi for saying that lack of jobs led to ISIS terrorism and that mob lynching is also a result of the bad employment situation in the country. The saffron party has construed Rahul's comments as a “veiled justification of terrorism”.
The fact that Rahul made these comments in a foreign country - Germany - has not gone down well. “Rahul Gandhi leaves no opportunity to belittle India,” BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra has said.
"Rahul Gandhi's statement about ISIS is in the same league that Imran Khan makes to justify Taliban and other Jihadi groups in Pakistan and his advice how to engage them. That such a man as Rahul Gandhi is President of India's largest opposition should deeply worry us all," commented Akhilesh Mishra, an entrepreneur.
