Star kids Niharika and Sumanth Ashwin are trying their luck with this week's release Happy Wedding. Read on to how this film turns out to be.
The story is based on the life of Akshara who is a modern girl with a past. She leaves her boyfriend and falls in love with Anand played by Sumanth Ashwin and even fixes marriage with him. But her boyfriend comes back in her life creating even more confusion to her and makes her fall in a dilemma as to whom should be marry. How does all this happens is the Crux of the story.
The first film of Niharika showcased her as a mature woman and this did not suit her at all. But here she gets to play her age and scores heavily. Niharika is slowly getting better and will be a good actress in the future. Sumanth Ashwin is a weak link in the film as he and his role do not create much impact. Murali Sharma is best as always and senior actor Naresh is getting better with every film. Indraja was good.
The point of the film is novel and is very relatable to today's women who change decisions every single time they face a problem. This has been shown well in many scenes and looks fresh. The makers are clever and they added good supporting staff who hold the film from falling down so many times. There are many flaws as the lead pairs roles have not been written well inspite of good theme. Second half is where things get boring and lacks the freshness.
Theme of happy wedding is completely women centric and it will be loved by them. But the lack of freshness in the second half and hurried climax end things in a jiffy. There is nothing new that this film showcases. Point is good but rest of the execution is the same old.
