Raj Tharun gave a miserable flop in the name of Rangula Raatnam. So he is now come up with a comedy caper in the form of Rajugadu. Read on to see how the film turns out to be.
Raju played by Raj Tharun is a kleptomaniac who has a habbit of stealing things. One final day he falls in love with Tanvi played by Amyra Dastur and everything seems good by now. But all of a sudden Tanvi demands to sort all the problems between their elderly people played by Nagineedu and Rao Ramesh in their village. The Crux of the story forms as to how Rajugadu solves all the village problems and wins his hand over Tanvi.
Raj Tharun as the kleptomaniac is very good and lively. All the scenes which show is robbery part are very funny. Raj Tharun manages things well and his chemistry with Amyra is also very good.
Amyra does not have much to do as her role is left like an supporting actress. She is glamorous though. Rao Ramesh and Nagineedu play their routine and bring nothing new to the table. Prudhvi is the some saving grace as she does some comedy which is good.
Sanajana Reddy the lady director gets things right for most part as she adds good comedy at regular intervals. But she too things she is smart and adds way many subplots and kills the interest of the audience.
Songs do not have any flow and so was the way the film was showcased through boring camerawork. Then there comes the climax which drags the film aside and makes you think when will the film get over. Such is the pain of the film in the second half.
Comedy by Prudhvi
Raj Tharun was picking some good films in the past and making sure that there is ample entertainment in the film. But off late he has lost a bit of script touch and is selecting films which do not have much weight. Rajugadu falls in the same category as the film has nothing going it's way other than some over the top comedy which some might enjoy only.
