salman-khan-convicted-a-nation-speaks
With Salman Khan convicted in a case related to the killing of blackbucks in 1998, the nation has received the delayed justice in its own way. It's a mixed response, with some hailing the judiciary and others suggesting that the quantum of punishment (five years imprisonment) is too much. And Bollywood celebs, true to their style, have their own opinions. Subhash Ghai said, "I am extremely shocked to hear @BeingSalmanKhan being convicted by session court but also having full trust in the Indian judiciary which has many other doors to appeal for final justice whatsoever. Since he is the most loved person by industry and people for his human reasons too." Arjun Rampal said, "The law takes its course. Can’t argue it. But at this point in time I just feel helpless and my heart goes out to @BeingSalmanKhan and his family. The reason, cause the last thing @BeingSalmanKhan is, is a criminal.I feel this is too harsh. I do hope he gets the relief he deserves." Similar arguments were heard when Sanjay Dutt was convicted.
