'Sultan' eyes on China record

Salman Khan's 'Sultan' will hit the cinemas in China on August 31.  The scale of the release is highly ambitious.

It will be out in at least 11,000 screens all over the neighbouring country.  The distribution company is looking at holding at least 40,000 shows every day.

If the film makes big openings, it will be a moment of pride for Indian cinema, once again.  Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the Hindi-language film was released originally in 2016.  Anushka Sharma, Randeep Hooda and Amit Sadh are part of the cast.  Music is by Vishal-Shekar.
