'Sultan' struggling in China
Salman Khan's 'Sultan' reportedly posted very limited growth on its Day 2 in China. As per trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film is doing a sub-par performance. "With a low starting point, the growth should’ve been threefold or thereabouts," he says.
So far, the Bollywood film, dubbed in Chinese, has done $2.03 mn (or Rs. 14.38 cr). It had grossed $1.04 million on Day 1.
Its total worldwide gross is pegged at Rs. 600 Cr., with India's share and gross estimated to be Rs. 300.45 Cr and Rs. 421 Cr, respectively. The overseas gross is Rs. 182 Cr.
