Tollywood's record: One crore share in single town
Crossing Rs. 1 crore in a single town is a big record for any film. In Tollywood's history, top grossers have done it remarkably well, some like 'Baahubali-The Conclusion' towering above the rest by a huge margin.
Box-office tracker Raghu Nandan Reddy says that Rajamouli's 2017 magnum opus crossed Rs. 1 crores in 23 towns/cities. This is the best record in the history of Telugu cinema. The second best record is held by 'Baahubali-The Beginning', which did it in 14 towns/cities.
Coming close is Ram Charan-Sukumar's 'Rangasthalam', which has 13 to its credit. Coming a distant fourth is Chiranjeevi-Vinayak's 'Khaidi N. 150' with 7 such records. And 'Srimanthudu' did it in 6 towns/cities.
