10th Standard girl Tanya becomes a saint!
It's usually said that renunciation should come after the age of 60. The Indian way of life prescribes that 'Sanyasa' has to happen after an individual goes through all the required stages of life, including that of 'Grihastha' (household life).
But here is a spiritual prodigy who realized that she should become a monk when she was a five-year-old kid. Named Tanya, this Ludhiana girl is currently in Class X. "Although I had decided to become a monk when I was five, my mother kept on discouraging me. But she has eventually relented," Tanya says.
The girl's sister, Muskan, has been a monk for long. The duo hail from a family of Jains.
