Again, Maruti raised its prices
The domestic car maker Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) has again raised prices. The price of the selected model cars has been increased to Rs 22,500 from Friday. Due to an increase in production costs, the company said it would inevitably shift some of the burden on customers.
The prices of all models except Celerio and Swift have gone up during this period. The company said the average price increase in Delhi showrooms was 1.6 per cent. Maruti Suzuki sells several models in the market, from the Alto to the S-Cross. The prices in Delhi showrooms range from Rs 2.99 lakh to Rs 12.39 lakh. The company also increased the price of selected models to Rs 34,000 on January 18.
