'Akshara' is as important as 'Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada' for me: Nandita
When 'Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada' hit the cinemas in 2016, it catapulted Nandita Swetha onto the stage of Tollywood. She has made a series of wrong choices since then, especially the likes of 'Srinivasa Kalyanam'. 'Prema Katha Chitram 2', 'Kalki', and the recent 'Katapadhaari' didn't do any good to her career. 'Bluff Master' remains an exception.
Nandita, who is a multi-lingual actress, feels that 'Akshara' is the most important film for her since the 2016 box-office hit. The crime-action drama is headlined by her. She is the film's central character. Directed by B Chinni Krishna, the movie is about the education mafia.
Produced by AhiTeja Bellamkonda, the film was in the making for two years. It hit a roadblock during the pandemic.
This week, 'Akshara' is clashing with Nithiin's 'Check' in the main.
