Another Day, Another Record, Virat Kohli, Smriti Mandana Wisden Leading Cricketers of The Year
Setting records have become quite common for Indian Skipper, Virat Kohli. Another Day, Another Record. Virat Kohli has become the Wisden' Leading Cricketer of The Year. With this feat, Indian Skipper has become the first cricketer to ever win Wisden's Leading Cricket in the World for three straight years 2016, 2017 and 2018.
He's also now been named as one of Wisden's Five Cricketers of the Year which is the oldest individual award in the sport. Tammy Beaumont, Rory Burns, Jos Buttler, Sam Curran, and Virat Kohli were chosen by the Wisden Cricketers' Almanack as the five Cricketers of the Year for their performances in the 2018 English summer.
The winners were announced with the release of the 156th edition of the Wisden Cricketers' Alamanck on Wednesday, 10 April. The Cricketer of the Year awards(Wisden's Almanack) was first introduced in 1889.
