Gold prices drop to 11-month low
The Gold prices fell below Rs 45,000 in the domestic market. On Wednesday, the value of 10grams of gold fell by Rs 208 to Rs 44,976 in New Delhi. It hits an 11-month low which falls below Rs.45,000 mark in trade.
The domestic stock market plunged for the third day in a row. The Sensex ended with a gain of 1,147.76 points at 51,444.65 and the Nifty with a gain of 326.50 points at 15,245.60. In the last three days, the Sensex has gained 2,344.66 points and the Nifty 716.45 points.
As a result, the market cap of companies listed on the BSE rose by Rs 9.41 lakh crore to Rs 210.22 lakh crore in the last three days.
