Guinness Book hero, PSPK fan Uday Shankar faces litmus test

Not many may have heard of Uday Shankar's name. The reason is that his two films so far, 'Aatagadara Shiva' and 'MisMatch', bombed at the box-office in recent years.

This Friday (February 26), however, he hopes to strike gold. 'Kshana Kshanam', starring him in the role of a probable culprit, is a thriller. The actor is paired up with Jia Sharma of 'Arjun Reddy' fame.

All along, two aspects of Uday Shankar's career have been highlighted by him. When he was 15, Shankar found a spot in the coveted Guinness Book of World Records when he accurately recited thousands of numbers after glancing at them just once. The other aspect is that he is a big admirer of Pawan Kalyan and even worked with him with respect to the Jana Sena Party. It was 'Badri' that had kindled in Shankar the dream of becoming an actor.

Shankar surely faces a litmus test this week. Can he finally score a hit at the box-office?
