IPL Auction: Steve Smith goes cheap for DC
The mini IPL Auction has started today in Chennai. Steve Smith is the first player who sold out in this auction. His opening bid is 2cr. RCB first opened the bid but Delhi Capitals bought him for 2.2cr. Smith just added 20 lakhs to his opening bid.
Hanuma Vihari with 1cr opening bid remains unsold. Jason Roy's opening bid is 2cr and he remains unsold. With a 50 lakhs base price, Karun Nair is also unsold. Alex Hales is also unsold, his opening bid is 1.50cr. In the first set of IPL Auction, except Steve Smith no one has been sold out.
Huge bidding is going on for Glenn Maxwell, his opening bid is 2cr. After tough bidding between RCB and KKR, CSK came into action. Their bid for Maxwell is 6cr.
