'Jamba Lakidi Pamba' for family audiences, too
For the looks of it, 'Jamba Lakidi Pamba' (starring Srinivas Reddy and debutante Siddhi Idnani) is bound to have double meaning jokes. The hero becomes woman-like (to be precise, like his wife). And the heroine becomes man-like (like her husband). This is due to soul-swapping, we are told.
"Our film is a clean family entertainer. I can watch it with my wife and daughters. Even so-called sensitive topics like menstrual cycles in women have been dealt with with the right sensibilities. Our film has got applause from Censor board's lady members. So, you can imagine," Srinivas Reddy asserts.
One hopes the film lives up to the promise.
Director JB Murali Krishna's debut venture, 'Right Right', was a pathetic flop. But it didn't come in the way of Reddy accepting 'JLP' happily.
