Lawrence throws 'Laxmmi Bomb' bombshell by quitting!
"In this world, more than money and fame, self-respect is the most important attribute to a person's character. So I have decided to step out of the project, #Laxmmibomb Hindi remake of Kanchana," Raghava Lawrence has said, suddenly announcing his exit from the Akshay Kumar-starrer.
Lawrence, who was looking at making a mark in Bollywood with the 'Kanchana' remake, was hurt for a particular reason. The director was not being consulted properly on many decisions by the producers. He said enough is enough when the First Look was released on Saturday by the producers without his consent. "I came to know about the FL through a third person. This should never happen to any director. I didn't like the design of the FL," Lawrence said.
There is no friendship lost between him and Akshay Kumar. "I respect Akshay sir. I will hand over the script to him and quit the film amicably. I can do this because no agreement binds me with the makers," Lawrence revealed.
