Kosuri Venugopal, the Tollywood actor, is no more. In the late 2000s, the Telugu film industry took note of his talent when he played a well-etched role in SS Rajamouli's 'Maryada Ramanna.
The artist was suffering from COVID-19. For 23 days, he was treated at a private hospital in Hyderabad.
An employee of the Food Corporation of India, Venugopal always pursued acting out of interest. He was not a full-time actor. Although his debut happened in the mid-1990s, Venugopal couldn't really catch up till films like 'Vikramarkudu' came to him.
Mohanakrishna Indraganti-directed 'Ami Tumi' was his last film. He played Vennela Kishore's father in it.
