Puducherry: CM V Narayanaswamy fails in the floor test
Puducherry CM V Narayanaswamy is failed the floor test and walked out of the assembly with the ruling party MLAs. After losing the confidence vote, today, the Congress government fell in the Union Territory.
Before losing the floor test, amid the ruckus, CM V Narayanaswamy addressed the assembly that the resigned MLAs have loyal to their party. The Congress party here has formed the government with the help of DMK and Independent MLAs. After forming the government, we have won several elections which means the people have believed in us. Those who have resigned to the party will be remembered by the people as 'opportunists'.
He also said that the Congress government in Puducherry is following a dual language system whereas BJP wants to make 'Hindi' the single spoken language.
Over CM remarks, the opposition leader N Rangaswmy lambasted him and said that instead of giving answers to the questions he is making allegations on BJP
