For long, Raasi has kept it to herself. Not anymore. The star actress of the previous generation has talked about how doing 'Nijam' resulted in utter disappointment for her.
"It was an exciting project, as Mahesh Babu was the hero. Director Teja had narrated the script in such a way that it appeared to me that my role had no negative shades. I was expecting some love scenes between me and Gopichand, as that was how the narration went. Right on the first day of the shoot, I realized that the real nature of the character was misrepresented to me," she says.
Raasi adds that she couldn't have walked out of the project, given that she had already signed on the dotted line. Moreover, she had been past her prime by then early 2000s. And opting out of the project would have resulted in loss of reputation.
