Superstar Rajinikanth on Thursday reacted to a "leaked letter" of his doing rounds in the media. A national daily, based on the letter, quoted a source close to Rajini as saying that he had undergone a renal transplant in 2016.
While denying that the letter was written by him, the 'Kaala' actor indirectly said that the news about his health is true.
This is an indirect way of saying that he did have a renal transplant in 2016, during the making of '2.0'.
There are rumours that Rajini is not willing to take up politics until there is a vaccine available for coronavirus.
