It is do or die situation for Sushanth as his new film Chilasow needs to click to keep him in the reckoning in Telugu. Read on to see whether he has got a hit under his belt.
Arjun played Sushanth is not interested in love marriage and wants to lead a carefree life. His mom gets him a match fixed and asks him to meet a girl called Anjali played by Rohani Sharma. The crux of the film is how a guy who is not interested is marriage falls in love with this girl and marries her.
Sushanth is in a new form altogether in this film. He is suave and does what is required of him. Good to see him romance a girl in a right way after a long time. Ruhani Sharma is natural and gets the scope to performance to the best of her capabilities. Her expressions are good and the way she enacts those emotional scenes was perfect.
Vennela Kishore brings the house down on fire with his rib trickling comedy in the second half. Anu Hassan was good as Sushanth's mom.
The film is a clear result of director's hard work. Rahul Ravindran makes a dynamic debut and shows how love stories are made with good emotional bondage. The way he sets the love story in a tension situation and generates romance from it speaks about his talent.
There are not many songs which disturb the narration and this makes the editors job very easy. The second half is where the depth in the story gets bigger and makes for a moving narration.
Chilasow is packed with right elements which the class audience look forward to. There is romance, comedy and upon that there is also enough drama which will make the audience happy. Sushanth will be happy with the film as his career will take a right move as films like this bring happy faces on many.
