Communal politics and political polarization over Asifa's rape has angered many citizens. They are taking to Twitter to express their outrage. Rahul Raj puts it brilliantly when he says, "Things have massively changed from Nirbhaya Case to Kathua Case. Then, people were full of anger and frustration, now people are full of politics and vengeance. Then people shouted for the safety of women, now people are shouting Hindu, Muslim, BJP, Congress. Women have lost again." Bollywood writer Javed Akhtar didn't bat an eyelid before he said something objectionable: "Who was Asifa? She was an eight years old daughter of Bakerwals. Who are Bakerwals? A nomad tribe who when spotted the Kargil intruders promptly informed the army. Who are the people who are trying to protect the rapists of this little girl? Now it is your turn to answer." Such kind of speechifying is specious. Here is how an advocate shoots back at Javed. "Do not be overworked. I have handled similar case years back when tribal 5 year old was raped by Muslims..Do not divide pain of minor into Asifa or Asha..I fear this might become WEAPON OF FUTURE to settle communal disharmony. Work on this line rather than dramatic posts."
