Earthquake hits Northern parts of India
Followed by Jammu and Kashmir, an earthquake shook various parts of North India. Today early in the morning, a moderate quake of 4.6 Richter scale touched Jammu and Kashmir. There is no news of any lives and property damage.
Later, several parts in North India including Bihar’ Begusaria, Kishanganj, Sahebganj, and West Bengal’ Siliguri, Malda and Jalpaiguri, Assam hit by the tremors with different magnitudes of 5.3, 5.4, 5.5 and 5.6, as per the private Independent Scientific Organization(CSEM EMSC (EMSC@LastQuake)) and provider of real-time earthquake info. The people run out of their houses in fear and the tremors in these areas last for 25-30 seconds. No damage to lives and property.
Even Bangladesh also experienced the tremors.
