Parchuri lists Agnyaathavaasi's sins
Paruchuri Gopalakrishna is of the view that the script of 'Agnyaathavaasi' could have been salvaged in the 11th hour with right thinking.
He points out a few major flaws in the film. Firstly, a revenge story was told in a light-veined manner. Secondly, says the senior writer, instead of Aadhi Pinisetty's character being the target of the hero, comedy characters (played by Rao Ramesh and Murali Sharma) became his targets. Thirdly, the main plot was revealed in the first few minutes of the film. It should have been shown as a flashback.
The veteran writer is spot-on. But Trivikram Srinivas may be thinking otherwise. Recently, he stated that the audiences didn't like the Pawan Kalyan-starrer as they were not interested in the tribulations of a businessman's family. So, 'Matala Mantrikudu' thinks that the problem was with making Boman Irani an industrialist, Khushboo an industrialist's wife and Pawan an industrialist's son.
