Nayanthara is in full demand as all of her films are being hit one after the other. So, she is now come up with a dark thriller called CoCo Kokila which has made it way to the screens. Read on to see how the film turns out to be.

Kokila played by Nayanthara is a poor girl who struggles to survive in life. This is also the time her mother falls sick. Left with no choice, Kokila becomes a drug peddler. Once she becomes a drug peddler, money comes easy but she does not know that her life will take a U-turn as she gets tangled with a drug mafia. How does she come out is the crux of the story.

There is no role that Nayanthara can do these days as the lady superstar is perfect as the struggling drug peddler. From Nayan's looks to the way she goes about her role, everything is so well planned and executed by the actress.

Saranya as Nayan's mom is also very good and gives able support to the setting. The supporting cast is thought of so nicely that you always get a feeling that they are really drug mafia who are acting in the film. Yogi Babu is hilarious in his role and brings joy to the proceedings.

The film is a dark thriller and because of this, the mood of the film is also kept intact with no Hungama. The director makes things very interesting by choosing a unique theme for the film and that with a star heroine.

The proceedings are gripping and the manner in which the film takes twists and turns is what clicks with the film. The only problem is that the film is too much Tamil based. But that cannot stop you from watching it as the premise and background score will surely help the viewing.

Overall analysis:
These days, genre-based films are the need of the hour and films are being made for all those who like different subjects. Same is the case with CoCo Kokila as it is for those who have a liking towards dark and earthy comedy. The film is devoid of the regular dance and fun but will surely impress you if you go with the essence of the film.
