The sudden rise of Vijay Devarakonda has shocked many and this has reflected in the openings of today's release Geetha Govindam. Read on to see if the Vijay carries his form of Arjun Reddy with this film.

Govind played by Vijay Devarakonda falls head over heels for Geetha(Rashmika). But in an excitement to win her love, he kisses her accidentally and this is where the love story gets a crack. He goes back home only to find out that his own sister is engaged to Geeta's brother played by Subbaraju. This makes things horrible and the crux of the storyline is how Govind removes all the stains he has on his character.

Vijay Devarakonda makes an awesome transformation after Arjun Reddy and underplays his role supremely. He is a delight to watch and his comedy will leave you in splits. Not once does he goes off track and makes you pity with him.

Rashmika is a superb match to Vijay as her cutie-pie expressions speak a thousand words. Subbaraju is apt as the menacing brother. Vennela Kishore makes another hilarious avatar look so funny. All his scenes with Annapurna and Rahul Ramakrishna are thoroughly enjoyable. Rahul Ramakrishna makes good fun in the first half.

Gopi Sundar's music has won half of the race already as his songs have superb repeat value. Parasuram has handled things so nicely that there is no dull moment whatsoever in the film. Both the halves are nicely packed and the lead pair's performance makes all the boxes get clicked in a right manner.

From the masses to the classes this film has neat entertainment. The film has been shot well and because of this, there is a color tone which makes you feel good while you watch the film. The rift between the lead pair and how they break up also has been dealt in a mature manner.

Love stories are one and the same most of the time. The director makes matters tick when he adds the right masala in correct places.
