Tej I Love You is a film which has been promoted as the comeback vehicle of Sai Dharam Tej who is going through a series of flops. Will this film will salvage his career, read on to find out
Tej has serious family problems and is kicked out of his office. In his depression days, he sees Anupama and falls in love with her. Even she too obliges it but a tragic accident to her evades her memory away. This leaves Tej in distress and he decides to make things work. Well, how does he do that is the story of Tej I Love You.
Tej tries hard to impress but his character graph is not proper at all. He looks wayward and when he finally gets the girl, in the end, he says no for reasons known better to him only. Loverboy image suits him well though. Anupama has been styled well and she is the one who dominates the story with her class act. Anupama has a good acting skill and she gives the full throttle here. Comedian Prudhvi has done his bit and so were the other actors who did a crucial role. Anish Kuruvilla is the main villain and he tries hard to impress but fails.
The film fails at the script level itself as Karunakaran has chosen and remixed some of his old films and wrote the script for this film. Not once does he manages to make sense of the love story has no great emotions and chemistry. All it does is showcased only on different reels. Songs are a torture who come as a deviation. The film is also lengthy as many family emotions are pushed in the last minute which have no meaning at all and will be a bore for the audience.
Tej I love suffers from the problem of old school drama trying to repeat itself again and again. There is not one things which the audience can vouch for in this mundane love story. This will give more problems to Tej as he is the one who will suffer from this film which ia a redundant love story.
